Giant Macaroons
They were the largest macaroons I’ve ever seen—at least 2.5 inches in diameter!
Surprisingly, I like the smaller, regular, bite-sized macaroons much better. Fillmore Bakeshops’s macaroons were just too big, so the excitement of taste quickly faded. Haven’t you heard the law of diminishing returns? I believe it, especially when it comes to food! And so does Thomas Keller. ;)
