900 Grayson

Jason and I rarely have a day off together, so it was nice to enjoy a delicious brunch at 900 Grayson.

He ordered the famed "demon lover (chicken and waffles)" while I got "the piggy (pulled pork sandwich)."

The chicken and waffles were so good. The chicken was pounded thin for extra tenderness and the crust was perfectly battered with a flaky crust. I wish I got that.

The milk-braised pulled pork sandwich was ok. The meat was tender and slathered with barbecue sauce and topped with camelized onions and slaw. Still can't beat Corky's in Tennessee.

900 Grayson was a really cute cafe, serving breakfast and lunch; definitely worth going back.
