Spanish Monday

Had a fabulous Monday night with Miss Kate and Tony at Esperpento in the Mission.

We tasted their famous dish, patatas bravas (spicy potatoes) that were extra crispy and covered with a spicy cream sauce. We also had another popular Spanish tapas dish called tortilla de patata, which was a potato and onion omelet. Not bad, something I think I'd try to make one day. We rounded out our meal with ropa viejo that was a beef, chicken and chorizo stew and gambas al ajillo, garlic shrimp.

All was pretty good. My favorite would have to be the spicy potatoes. The sangria was OK, still think my recipe's the best. :)
