So Neat + Clean

I like clean grocery stores.

Especially ones that sell large ostrich eggs and four different types of paprika. Oh yeah, and also one that has a sushi bar, deli, gelato shop, full bakery and prepared entrée bistro.

I stopped by the 2-year-old Whole Foods in Oakland recently and was amazed by how gorgeous the 55,000 square foot store looked. Bountiful and fresh produce in all colors greeted you, rows and rows of different types of meat (even house dry aged beef) and seafood, piles of every cheese from around the world and also your pantry needs such as dried pasta, canned goods and multiple types of peanut butter. You can find everything and anything related to food at Whole Foods, they specialize in organic products too.

To encase all these high quality products was a beautifully designed layout with high ceilings and an industrial feel. I tried to take more pictures, but the security guard said I couldn't take any. :(

Really loved this store and left with some hefty cuts of New York steak. More on that coming up.
