Fancy Grilled Cheese + Soup, Part 2

As mentioned in a previous entry (see post), Gap was celebrating grilled cheese sandwich month by offering different variations of the famous sandwich.

I decided to try "The Norway," that came with Munster and Julesburg cheeses, tomato and bacon on a Napa hoagie roll. It was darn good. So good that I got it twice in a row! The cheese was perfectly melted, but what made it extra special was yet again the bread. It was crunchy and one side was purposely upside down, so it was able to catch more flavor from the grill. I'm going to try this trick the next time I have nice bread to make a grilled sandwich.

I definitely got my craving for grilled cheese fixed. Such a simple sandwich, but with the variations are endless. :)
